Chef Robert Watts brings his diverse culinary background and upbeat nature to all of his cooking experiences throughout the Lake Tahoe area. With 15 years of experience, Robert learned the art of sushi from chef Sam Okamoto, who comes from a multi-generational Japanese sushi family. WIth dedication to sourcing the highest quality fish from Japan and sustainable sources, Robert worked as head chef of Truckee's most popular sushi restaurant, Drunken Monkey for a decade. Currently, he's focusing on private events for HNW clients in their homes, and also he has a very popular Vietnamese pho pop up.
